G20 should give favored nation status to land locked countries.

3 trade routes for each land locked country such as Boliva, ParaguayChad, Niger, UgandaZinbabweAfghanistan, Nepal, Czech Republic and many other countries should be granted at the G20 this week. These trade routes of permanent establishment granted at the G20 will go a long way towards future business and world economic growth.

What does the above really do? These permanent trade routes opens, developes and grows rich countries we all need to survive. Rich in people, rich in product and services, rich in growth and discovery.

There must be no less than 3 permanent trade routes granted by the G20 to favored nation status countries. Why 3 trade routes per country? Because some countries only have air or air cargo trade route only. There must be trade routes to include but not be limited to air, road and water routes. This is important because you want trucking, you want  cargo tankers for world shipping and you want airplane capabilities. It must be 3.

This shall also include web and internet footprints of everykind and will not be limited to infrastructure and or capabilties of any kind.

The above favored nation status shall also extend to island nations as all port countries already have these capabilities.

The U.S. Secretary of the Treasury has very positive initiatives in order for the U.S. to pull up and out of recession. Many of his initiatives will need approval by Congress. These new initiatives should be approved as they are for the betterment of U.S. all.

All of the above and more should be more than enough to quell protests at the G20. These initiatives and many more to come are very positive steps and positions to put us all forward in the new millenium. So many new positive regulations are included here. These people understand we need a totally new world market system that includes complete new world banking sytems and new global financial trading markets. The G20 should recognize the sizable steps of progress this administration has taken prior to the G20 and veiw it as the start of further great things to come, as this is not the last meeting of the G20. It should also be noted that this administration is keenly aware of carbon footprinting and the greening of America and has allocated billions of dollars to those achievements and advancements. All of that and more in a very short time period from the last G20 meeting in Washington. Indeed no administration has moved further, faster, and with a more composite actualization.  A complete listing of these and other iniiatives by this administration in regards to the G20 should be posted clearly for all to see in itemization, then a much clearer picture would present itself. There should be complete posting by country to show and tell who wants what  and why. The G20 website is built for world informational purposes. For more information about the G20 summit.

See prior Blyg's for much more as all countries should be included in the G20.

U.S. dope, the other half of the problem is us.

Posted By: John Blyth | Time: 12:29:02 PM | Back to Blygs

Due to the insatiable demand for dope in the U.S. the problem compounds daily. The dope dealers are only half the problem. If the demand were not here neither would the dope be here. So how do we stop or stall or decrease demand to get high on dope?

Addiction to cocaine is psychological. Addiction to heroine is physical. Perhaps more to the point is who needs to get high everyday regardless of addiction. Everybody knows your body can not handle getting high everyday. So if one listened to his/her body they would stop by no contest.

The real search here is how do we stop being a drug society as a whole?

Prozac, ritalin and too many all to common a drug in medecine cabinets around the country are far too common place and accepted as a norm. Fashion drugs like ectasey, the purple pill viagra and other designer drugs are also of a new so called norm. Diet pills always the rage.

So with a culture of, it's ok to do drugs across the board in all parts of society, how do we change attitudes and beliefs back to a culture of drug free is better and deal with your issue not through drugs or other escapisms. Maybe there is no problem, maybe we did it because everyone else did it back in the day, but no longer. That is fine for the one but perhaps not the family. And therein lies the crext of the problem, for because you got away with it does not mean your relative or friend will or can.

Yes we have all seen the merits of redemption in many a man and woman.

There are stark problems of our current days not a part of the past or at least not counted then. Suicides are up. The percentage of crimes related to drugs are far higher than they were back in the day. And youth violence is at an all time high. The schools, police and conselors have not failled us. so how do we find or create  a drug free society?

Yes, in the knowing about the big legal drug manufacturers, the FDA, and the illicit dope dealers aggressiveness of every type, it's a wonder anyone has survived. That may be good for sales but not as a society at large. The new push for the wonder drugs of the tomorow, for MS, Parkinsons, Alzhiemers and more is but a part of our drug society. For clearly drugs can not do it all for every reason.

The reliance on family has saved many and perhaps we could start there. The lack of family and or structure of an individual is another story with this our great society taking the biggest hit for failure of a comprehesive winning solution as a whole for our people regarding drugs. How can it be that for generations there is still no winning answer here. Surely there is is or are great minds to solve, remedy and cure to this our greatest crisis of youth. Let us come together in a collective forum for the advancement of a drug free society. Perhaps a website to and for a drug free society for all.

I must say this is a difficult subject to write about as there is too much known and not written above. Please forgive the knowns not written about here.

Now let us begin. How do we build a drug free country?

Nationalize the banks. That's right, quit faking it. This levels the field and we start fresh, equal for all. We can sell them back when need be, but only after extensive smell tests, and hopefully some jail times nationally. This includes the mortgage Companies public and private.

End the 60 year failure of Goldman Sachs in ti's entirety now. This includes the elimination of Goldman on the federal reserve board. The major key to this is that it cuts loose the genius of Bernacke to go unrestricted into hyperspace to do what he knows is right and with exponetial rewards for all. Do it. And this time let Bernacke choose the board for completion of excellence for all. Do it now.

Ready the G20 summitt. Ready in detail, not a piece nor a part.

Reinstate the Glass Steagall Act now. We can modify and update it later.

The keys to the G20 are; 1. An all new "World Market System". 2. All countries are included, no exceptions. There will be no opt-outs, no, not the bank of England and no other vicagoths. All in. The new world market system is the greatest worldwide system ever developed and we can do it right, right now. Pricipally, the more we welcome new countries the better the new world market sysytem will be for all. They have so much to offer and are of extreme value to the whole of us worldwide. To be sure the new world market system is the complete new world banking system and the all new financial trading systems of all goods, services , commodities and financial sectors worldwide and the makets thereof. Yes this is vast, but well over due by at least 60 years. And no, the world can wait no longer.

     The new world market system will include but not be limited to the following;

     1. A break out of what a market is. 2. Regulations, law and enforcement. Note, of key interest here, pardon the punn, is the total elimination of no harm no foul and no admission of guilt. That is proven failure. The taxpayer should not pay. The traders should pay with fine and jail only. Skip the bs. 3. Money and banking. What is a bank in new defintion. What is not a bank in new definition. What is a commercial bank and not. A far more definative distinction between banks and commercial banks there needs to be and who and who does not and will not qualify as such needs to be defined and or maybe fined. Yes it could be a good idea to fine all banks for general cheatage worldwide in the beginning just to get there attentention if not compliance. And yes compliance will be totally eliminated as that to is proven failure to taxpayer. This fine can also pay for the costs of the new world market intrgrations. The new can anty big time later. Now we start. 4. What is a trade and what is not a trade. The total extinction of float or wait times of deposit. This is a proven outdated scam for banks worldwide. 5. Real time currency values worldwide in massive digtal upgrade. And much more, see prior Blyg's.

New system integration of computer and accountabilities will be built on the International order much the same as the space stations and the web with central operation house seperate from the central accounting house and a seperate law enforcement house worldwide. These locations can be subject of change every 9 years and no longer, but change of location is with new massive updates for those sectors in the new host country, if no change, then the country of origin will perform any and all updates to and for sector evey 9 years and not longer. No continent shall host two sectors.

     Where does 756,000.oo = 214 billion ?

Que buono = Who benefits ?

What is a credit default swap? Who makes them? Who benefitted? Who won? Who lost? What was the underlying value of the credit default swaps? Are credit default swaps legal and why? Who made it this way and why? Who benefitted most and why? Who went to jail and why or why not? Are these people appointed? Appointed by who? As Presidents come and go who remains same and unchanged and why? How long has this been going on? What names are consistant here and why are there no other names here? Or here is a good question, why has no one gone to jail for any of the above?

Did the sytem work? Is the current system functional at any level? Do we need a totally new "world market system" that includes banking and all financial sectors worldwide with total inclusion of all nations? When is the G20 summitt? Are we ready to perform corectly for the new world market in any definition of readiness? Do you care? Should all U.S. banks be nationalized?

I do not understand business. That is what I am told over and over. I do not understand business.

It is far past insulting that I or you or we or U.S. do not understand business. Derivatives, credit default swaps, the underlying value of bundled junk bonds and or U.S. homes value is not too much for me nor U.S. to understand. I understand the amount and value of the massive amounts in quantity and value of cocaine in and on our streets as sure as the dope dealers nearest you. Yet, word is I do not understand business, as in it is too much for me or U.S, or it is too complicated and I just won't understand it so why bother? The truth is I or U.S. can not handle the truth of the massive scale of over 50 + years of ingraned incest of 'Market and U.S. Banking" greed and insult. As suggested repeatedly to me by and from those who tell me I would not understand. Much, much more on this later.

So what is it about business that I do not understand? Could it be be that federal, state, city, county, township dollars are missing due to fraud, theft, embezlement, cronyism, all mobbed actions of every type including conspiracy of every pension and other aspect of government. And the long and short of the matter is the tax payers must make up the difference. Could it be that I do not understand that when you saturate whole cities for 50 years of dope and violence and rancid wholesale destruction of every neighborhood with house fires and uptick violence that no one can pay for, that the true cost of all of this is 1 trillion dollars stolen from our society as a whole and with no recourse, or at least no massive sweeps of the usual suspects including the dirty crooked cops. 1 trillion dollars? A cruious number for tomorow's Gietner answer. 1 trillion could also be the amount of the U.S. crime sindicates theft in terms of U.S. housing and bank failure alone.  And yes I know not all cops are crooked. Could it be that I do not understand the triple reverse negative vortex and spiral of all of the above and more because it is too much for me. Could it be that I do not understand that U.S. drug cartels are bigger than the U.S. government in the fact that the U.S. drug monies now are 4x times the size of U.S. GDP. Could it be that I just don't live with the truth or have turned a blind eye to all of the above. Could it be that I do not understand where that 1 trillion dollars went? Could it be that I think that 1 trillion dollars evaporated? No. I really do not think it evaporated. At least, not when I see it everyday.

     Much more on this later.

Transparency in IL. 20 Billion dollar road work?

Posted By: John Blyth | Time: 8:04:47 AM | Back to Blygs

We need a specific new website in Illinois that shows detailing, not generalization of the U.S. Bail out monies and all of thier allocation and a complete detailing stand alone of the Illinois road monies in definition. It is all about the money and who and why and transparency.  Move Illinois forward now.

This includes, not precludes Chicago, and all other municipalites and counties by itemization.

To be extremely specific: All of the above information to be shall not be in any way a part of any kind or form of anything to do with the freedom of information act in any way. This is key as it does away with all duplcities and only leaves archives as a secondary, of which tit should be.

One needs to see the beauty in and of all of this. 1. If you do the websites correctly there is no need for the hastles of the freedom of information act. 2. Therefore, time and efficiencies are achieved at the same time. And all is known. 3. And this is important, to do this website right the first time will go a long way towards reform in Illinois. (Whatever that means.) 4. These new websites take US out of the dark ages ugh IL. voodooland and into the light of the new millenium in the right way, the way voters now demand, and not the cryptic antebellum ways as seen worldwide in December, January, and February here in Illinois. 5.There is no reason not to do this and I would make it a federal law for all states that this website be a must or no monies. Included here as a matter of good and finer engineering I would require a uniform and national formatting of these sites so that anyone form another state could and can get to any state and find what they want the smae way for speed and production with max effectiveness. This is also of importance when we think of interstate highways, railroads, new electric grid planning, cross and multi functional planning, and fibreoptic planning etc...

I want to be clear here, each state should not wait to post these sites. Federal complince can come afterwards of post. And if you wish, there can be a prize for the best state road monies website with the winning state to receive a shiney new nickle, or the prestigious new governors transportation award of 1 million dollars from # 44 to be distributed to any state allocation the governor wants, non for profit only such as the special olympics and or other ADA meritoious recipients.

Move Illinois forward now. Let US be the model for the nation.

     Later, these state road money websites shall incude the all new federal guidelines, but not be limited too;

Multi graphic definitional detaling of elavations horizontal, vertical, grades and gradings including drainage, sound barriers, colors, aggregates of every kind and where they come from and where they go including any and all chemicals usage and origins and seperate difinitional chartings of and for EPA concerns of all kind with the links to and for further information etc... All of this and more in federal formatting. This will give us the first national digital HD road survey in completion to be the source for good and bad planning nationwide for the first time and moving forward to better and best roads, railroads, national electric grid planing, fibre optic planning and all other cross referential planning such as drainage, river and water concerns, ecological concerns, DNR concerns, FDA concerns etc... nationally. Add to that GPS and google earth and google water and the new topograghical mappings and more. We can even use new subterranian HD software and chartings to "Survey Maximus USA". We need this.

Of key at the federal level to and of all of this need be is Dr. Chu. Understanding the corect layering of windows and other cross dataing here is the key to this collective building of the federal compliance of these formattings. Clearly this should not be done in hodge-podge nor piecemeal, as that is the state of the union on so many fronts. No. The corect federal modeling here is of the essance for finer government of the future forever. No, I am not calling out Dr. Chu nor anyone else and never will. I am simply trying to show that these new federal website fomattings of national importance needs a keen overseer of site and engineering with function first and design second. Big brain power and compositional futurism in e pluribus unum for all one time and for all. So delicious! Smiles!

Now it is time to get serious! Serious about jobs, jobs, jobs. I'm talking about good jobs here. Not just jobs for the techno geeks and greater, but also very much included here is massive and wanting input from the regular workers like surveyors, carpenters, heavy equipmaent operators, Caterpillar Co, John Deere Co, wanted input from engineers of all kinds, State employyee input at all levels and departments, needed data and input from community residents and thier concerns, local businesses and etc... Jobs, jobs, jobs. Good jobs. We want their input to be allowable on these websites for the advancement of man, women and child. Definately kids too, they are so smart.

But first let's start with a little defintion; Emerging Web Aggregates, screen scraping, Buying out Craigslist and divvying it up by region so as not to have a monopoly. Yes so much at stake. Massive new infusions of great graphic arts advertising with big wows and undo's. Robots to self answer advertising by writer and or graphics and or multi media compositon of symphany and orchestration if not design and symposium and indeed the single new norm of job applicant. Those courses have not even been thought about yet, but will soon. Sweeping new laws by Congress to address our new way of media conglomerates and the one. New laws of publishing, copywrite and patent with the composite overveiw of reporting standards to the world in greater definiton and practice to, including ethics no matter how innocent. Massive revolutions in bio-sciences and the reporting their of for the advancement of man and women. Of note here is the fact that all of this is in exactly the right time and space to happen all at once for the betterment of all. And we can do it big.

As you can see the need for government here is many fold. Starting with the fact that Google (the worlds largest media Company) needs competition as well as Microsoft. The capitalization of these two Companies is onminous even after the stock market crash of 2008.  And that would certainly include U.S. competition. Huge anti trust problems here as these two Companies alone can take entire world market share of Yahoo, dying or defunct newspapers and other multi-media entities in a single swoop. Not good for consumer you can see. Should Craiglist and like Companies be bought out, they should be busted up regionally for the betterment of competion and for fairness in reporting and for cost concerns to the consumer. Unfortunately, right now the only mergers theese days are in the multi billion dollar arena. Major buy outs and consolidation could happen too fast for the U.S. government to act properly. Maor television Co's like ABC, NBC and CBS could take on the new embedded, or visa versa.  Much more on this later. I have to go to work now. Thank you.

The main thing to remember here is jobs, jobs, jobs. Big, good, long lasting career jobs.

Keep in mind that # 43 passed a law in 2006 saying that your U.S. Billlions of cash dollars are not accountable by the GAO (U.S. general accounting office) because it is a forieng war. Hundreds of billions of your dollars of "legalized" unaccountablity.

     Sickening.

How quickly we forget about the missing hundreds of billions in cash flown into Iraq. MIA Billions? See the banned pictures of fallen U.S. soldiers coming off giant C130 U.S. Aircraft form Iraq, after that witness the loaded pallets of billions in U.S. cash being loaded onto the same planes alledgedly for return destination.

No. I really do not believe the Iraq or Afghanistan billions in cash are missing. MIA Billions? Let U.S. skip the Blarney shall we.

     Happy St. Patrick's Day!

St. Patrick was never canonised. Don't tell that to the locals. He is widely venerated however, and a living truth to keeping the faith. Other great legends and mysteries of Saints of the Church would include the following question of Chicago trivia and lore. Q. Why is St. Patrick prominently displayed at Holy Family Church, S.J., the only non Jesuit Saint in the statuary?

Now, yes, I know that is too easy for the Irish, but hey, tis thier day. Smiles

A few words about the Saints. Yes the Saints are fun and powerful in so many ways. The key to the Saints is Jesus. I hope you have many favorite Saints. God Bless and remember that Irish toast. No not the soda bread. O' the Irish. And the blarney.

Newspapers, the government and capitalism.

Posted By: John Blyth | Time: 7:32:02 AM | Back to Blygs

The sadness of major newspapers going out of business is far more than tragedy. We are all hopeful for the new business model of American newspapers what ever that will be in this our evolving new age of multi medias. The death of our old friends of print will give added emphasis to the television. This is not nescesarilly a good thing as television can not do it all.

It is unrealistic to think that individual writers and or reporters can and should fill this void of truth for our everyday way of life, both the good and the bad. We can not and should not turn the keys of truth over to a loosely knit band of bloggers. That is already evident in the explosive growing world of bloggers and or youtube. There is no cohesive agent in the blogasphere to make a creative composite of consistent content and as such proven composition of facts.

Could there be a need or nescesity for a bail out and or a "new government press"? Only tempoary untill the economy is back on treck good. Then with period certain the U.S. government could sell it all off to private commercialism and hurray for capitalism, all at a profit to taxpayers.  A new government press would be where in one model the U.S. government consolidates the industry after 7,11, 13 and hires and forms a new national quilt work of the press. No not everyone going to Washington, but, everyone staying right where they are and doing what they do best locally. "The U.S.G Press" would simply be the single consolidator and or the central business coordinator of it all. It should be quite clear here that this is not nationalism of press. Indeed quite the opposite.

One needs to see the beauty of this. Our new U.S. G Press would be a receivership much the way a bad union is temporarily run by the governmennt and then returned to their own body once it is managable. Only in this case of course the receivership is not by fault of it's members.

More beauty. As a new worldwide model our new U.S. G Press all rights and articles of free speech would be enforced and this new print entity would and will be allowed to speak against any part of the government for reason of ability to do so. Think of it. A world newspaper, owned by the government and alowwing criticism of self as bounded by the rules of professionalim and journalism. Marvel for the world and demaocracy or republicanism all in one. This could be a tribute to good govrnment everywhere. And then, in maybe 2 years or so the U.S.G Press would be sold to capitalist business concerns.

So what do we get for this new U.S. G Press? We get the public served for information. Think of it an all new and completely expanded freedom of information act and unprescidentented access. Great coverage by your local reporters and freinds. Jobs, jobs jobs. All of this and a new and excitng crop of journalists in an all new generation of print and format. Expansive and passive to the one and all. And everybody is in. The editors, the photograghers, writers, columnists and evryone else. Yes competion.

So many good and positve things can happen here with this new government incubator of medias. We can completely update the scammed telecomunications act that  passed in gawfu to all a few years ago. We can be the model to the world in distribution. The model to the world with dazzling new advertising.. We can advance all of the tech in the industry. We can establish new laws of boundry and industry for the cominglings of technology and print including copywrite, patent and other needs of huge upgrade. Theese are sweeping new publishing laws that very much need address along with privacy laws. We can establish new barriers of multi media as need be for children and society at large so as to do away with the filth that consistantly prevails on the web and other formats. You will be able to get content on large screen 24/7 walkways like on time square N.Y. Massive new interface convergances with secuity of norm and much more. Very exciting.

O'Those Irish stories. The secret parade.

Posted By: John Blyth | Time: 9:37:35 AM | Back to Blygs

I always thought the best St. Patrick's Day parade was on Dearborn Street. Note; click on pictures. This year the Irish parade will be on Columbus Dirve. Not the same kind of party. There are many Irish parades around the country. The biggest Irish parade is in Savanah, Georgia. But there are other parades in NY, NY and Boston, MA. and the southside irish parade in Chicago. And now there is a northside parade in Chicago too.

It is true that Chicago has a day or a parade for almost every group or ethnicity. Peurto Rican parade, Polish day, Columbus day parade, Cinco de Mayo day parade and even the trail of tears day pararde for the crucifiction of Christ on good Friday down west 18th Street, this starts at Providence of God. Chinese New Years parade etc...

Chicago does not have a 4rth of July parade per say. This is curios because almost every small town and city in the country do have a 4rth of July parade. Yes Chicago has the fireworks but no parade. This is also curious because Chicago has a parade for just about everything else, but no 4rth.

The secret parade is the 4rth of July parade in Hyde Park, Chicago, IL. Though the city is of little input of this parade, if any, it is largely just a neighborhood parade. Small, cheesey and quite nice, this is one of the best parades of the year. It is also little known, just a small tidbit for those of Chicago trivia. I marched in the 4rth of July parade twice and it was graeat fun.

New electric cars need noise to be ADA compliant.

Posted By: John Blyth | Time: 2:33:02 PM | Back to Blygs

The new hybrid cars of tomorow need noise or a sound to warn pedestrians of danger. More specifically the deaf and the blind, but also the general public as well. In 2005 # 43 passed a law to make new cars quieter or to lower the decibal levels so as to decrease noise pollution worldwide and that was good. But the new eco- friendly cars of tomorow are too quiet and as such pose a safety hazard to the walking public and more. One solution could be to have Mickey the talking lepercauhn on your hood or bumper, but I'm sure a more practical way will be found to make all aoutomobiles ADA compliant.

Is it possible that we need a whole new world market system?

Let's start with the immediate reinstatement of the Glass Steagall Act.

Too young to tell this story. The Irish Sweepstakes.

Posted By: John Blyth | Time: 6:28:45 AM | Back to Blygs

Too be sure this was scandalous as all get out. And as a matter of disclaimer, I am to young to tell the truthful scandalous story of the Irish sweepstakes in Chicago of the early 1960's. There are those that know the truth of the Irish Sweepstakes scandal that are still alive.  No need to take it to the grave, fess up now. I can not write this Chicago Irish story in full as I was only 3 or 4 at the time, but so scandalous was it that not only was it tabou but dangerous as well. So please bear with as I atempt my partial story here, to be completed with your help and I thank you.

For starters everybody was in the Irish Sweepstakes. This is long before the days of the Illinois lottery. Much like bola for the Puerta Ricans and other private lotteries run all over the world all of diferent name and the same game. Except in Chicago, where the take was over 20 million alone in one year. 20 million for a 25 thousand dollar cash prize in Chicago. The Irish Sweepstakes went far beyond cultural or ethnic boundaries and everybody was in.

The Irish Sweepstakes in Chicago was a glorified raffle ticket with big cash and other prizes to win. The scandalous part about it all (and I was too young and do not have the detals) was that it did not pay out, and where is the money, and who is running this scam?

Now back up. You need to remember the times. The early 60's the Catholic Church was in it's heyday. Kids had to sell raffle tickets or pay full tuition for those Catholic schools so a lot of raffle tickets were sold everywhere, all of that started in the late 50's. So by the time the ealy 60's arrived, buying a raffle ticket was quite fashionable and for such a good cause. The neighborhoods were all in tact and not burnt to the ground like today.

Enter The Irish Sweepstakes. To be sure this was all local and not state. The bankers were in on it, but there were many other prominent players of interest as well you may be sure. The big names of the day helped sell huge amounts of the Irish Sweepstake tickets. This went on for 7 or 8 years on the legit. Every year the pot was bigger and better prizes. Many people still did not have a TV.

Now around 1963ish, the Irish days that were celabrated for the entire month of March were in full bloon coming into St. Patrck's Day. Fahey Flynn's pedestal was firm, the queen was picked, the river green, and those Irsh Sweepsatke tickets were in great demand bigger than ever and flying off the printers packs. Here is where I need the most help in recollection, shh, don't use that word.

Now normally you would have to wait a day or two to know who the winners were in the Irish Sweepstakes in Chicago. Then you could curse and hiss that shanty eyed, hey he's not one of us, the greater for winning. And hey, how about a little loan pal, I always liked you. Not much with the taxes in those days. Cash was the prize. But in a delay of days there was quite a large conflict of information as to who won the prizes and in what amounts and to whom. As time went on it got much worse as the gorilla's would go into a bar and try to quiet the loudest mouths of tyranny against the who and the way the Chicago Irish Sweepstakes were run and by who.

There was talk of the Irish Mafia in Chicago, but that has never been proven in Chicago. Sure as the horse with no name and still running. Still there were many a name of involvement and implication. Names like Paddy, Frank, Michael and Grand O'Larceny.

That's the story. Now you fill in the names dates and places. The whole truth needs to be told.

At what point are you willing to admitt to the problem?

Lent and the new way. No meat and no tech.

Posted By: John Blyth | Time: 7:42:27 AM | Back to Blygs

As seen on pror Blyg's, No meat on Friday now includes no technology of every kind on friday's.

Of course the vatican wants us to go no tech for fourty days, to be more definative about it. You may be sure this is not easy. However, the merits are clear and resounding, should you have the fortitude.

I went to Firday black out yesterday. Or the correct term may be no tech Friday in lent. I can tell you it was difficult. No phone of any kind, no TV, no internet, no video games, no multi media of any kind, it was difficult, especially on a work day. No cooking with appliances, no radio and no meat.

I told my freinds about it, they thought I was nuts. Fourty days! Dude? And of course they had not even heard about it. Non Blyg readers. Tragic and tragedy.

So, what to do? I remember how proud I was of myself just to learn the basics of the internet in some vain or feign effort not to be a neanderthal or a dinosaur as I was called by some 21 year old newly employed Humana sales rep. Indeed I was the last of all cryptics to her and if she had her way she would lance the last spear into me for the greater good of all and tis, tis, tis.

I remember the achievement of my goal not use a filing cabinet ever again and how proud I was to complete that. I remember how proud I was to go and be paperless. I remember learning so much about printing do's and don'ts, buying the right printer and all other aspects of printing text and graphics, not the same thing, and understanding the various software's thereof.

I remember my recent goal of not printing and or being extremely selective of the printing I do.

So what to do on black out Friday. All of my files, books and folders were in the my computer, phone #'s too, can't go there. Still, a business day I felt guilty about no getting the job out. Here the emphasis quickly became face to face and or real conversations in person. In the old days I would drop by unannounced at my clients business just for five minutes in and out. I did this for many reasons, 1. I liked them, 2. I was in the neighborhood, 3. Find out what's new etc... 4. spend some money or go to lunch and reinforce relationships. It was good and it was fun. Networking the old fashioned way, spontaineous and a lttle old fashioned, quite effective.

High crime areas where long time businesses still reside have seen a fort knox approach to security at every escalting level. Dropping by unannounced today is futile and you are a pest for being there. Add to that the post 911 era and you must now sign in with ID, have your picture taken, security must call that person on the 23rd floor and only then maybe you will be allowed to go to the now deserted elavator bank in what looks and feels a cold empty building of hapless 40 percent occupancies. Kind of creepy, don't make a wrong turn in that huge building, cold. In the old days whenever I walked out of an office I would cold call the immediate next ten or twenty offices. That was good work and the way to do it. Now they call security and or the cops as if to protect against Corporate espionage, as If I really care about any part of these cold call businesses. What a joke. But these idiots are serious. Serious in anality. They have no clue what they are protecting if anything, the information of all importace is old news in today's world, but it is important to them to be secure, whatever that means in today's business. Beleive me I do not need an escort. I can not wait to leave the building and pay my absurd parking bill, I skip lunch downtown now and forever as do most in this the new days. Before, I would alway's check out the new retaurant, blow the dough and network at the bar. No smoking now, and the clientele is but 60 percent of what it used to be. Don't go there anymore. It's not even fashionable anymore to have a drink ya lush and don't let the drink police catch you, that is total ruination.

In today's business world the receptionist is long fired and vexing automated phone systems of toatal inhumanity are the wrongful and expesive practice of "business today". Too much to list here, the botom line is, businesses big and small will not answer the phone for any reason and "today's business" wants you to do it all for them so that business does not have to pay thier employee to do it. We see it everywhere, the super market self check out line, airline e-tickets, not to mention the death of the travel agencies, but follow the prompts on the phone to complete your order, or you can only buy on line, go to the website, but they will not tranfer you there. All of this and so so much more is totally inhuman. And for those that need to be told, it is just plain wrong and not business at all.

Businesses need to be told that all of the above is failure. The simple fact that businesses you will not talk to someone ends business. Humanity demands people, not machines. Business means you have a product or service to be completed. Business does not mean we the customer do it for you and pay you. Business does not mean we wait longer to get less and with agitation. Business means talking to people face to face, live, in person and no other way. Closing all aspects of any relationship whatsoever with customers is dumb and 7,11, 13. Did you ever wonder why people like the mailman?

You can do your e-mail web blitz to everyones spam box. You can follow the prompts to the loops of nowhere in the automated phone banks of hell. Or you can only do business with businesses that want to do business and are open to the new ideas and opportunities that a salesman has to offer. There is no business that is anti hamane. I hope your business is not one of the above.

I highly recomend this for all businesses. Turn off all of the technology and what do you have? Do the job with out the technology. How do you do the job with out the technology? You do the job with people, that's how, with people.

Viva Mexico and Senior Presidente Calderon

Posted By: John Blyth | Time: 8:22:05 AM | Back to Blygs

As Mexico quickly nears to a country of lawlessness, we are next. The U.S. / Mexico drug wars escalation fueled by the U.S.'s insatiable demand for illegal drugs of every kind will break U.S. once and for all. The amount of cocaine walking down every street in America leaves no one safe, as it is not only the dope but every related crime that comes and goes with the dope. See prior Blyg's. 60 billion dollars worth of dope a year buys every kind of corruption anywhere in the world cheap, now and forever.

So, the only question left to ask is? Will you be a slave to your local drug gangbanger? Because all efforts to combat the dope wars have failed except for Presidente Calderon's way, which is the only way. This is not a matter of what I like or want or need. This is a matter of fact and what works and does not work.

Send in the drones all over Mexico. Do it now. We can not wait any longer. Drop the daisy cutters. Do it now. The life you save may be your own. Take no prisoners, not at sea nor anywhere else. Forget inspections, just blow up the trucks, the cargo containers, the boats, the ships, the planes and the super tankers filled to the bee geebies with cocaine. When in doubt fire. Do it now.

Nope. Just the same old story about how Milorad was treated unfairly.

     Lamo.

See the local white trash in the garbage can nearest you.

The key to Milorad's new book is to buy it only after Milorad is covicted. Buying the book after milorad is covicted means the state of Illinois taxpayers gets the money. If you buy the book before milorad is convicted, then milorad gets the money. More Milorad.

This new anti Milorad law needs immediate approval. As seen on prior Blyg's.

If I did not know better? I would have to say that some of these people are very well read.

More Milorad and his new tell all book.

You saw it first on the Blyg months ago. Milorad's new book.

Lent; One Life.

Posted By: John Blyth | Time: 5:03:59 AM | Back to Blygs

Mortalty is reminded in lent with ashes. Baptism, penance amd fasting give us teachings and more, but to be sure we only have one life. There is no such thing as being born again or my next life. There is no repeat, no reincarnation. Many people do not know that. This is not a trial run or a test. Life is a do now. We only have one shot. Here today, gone tomorow. Be the light. Shine on.

Clarifications about the above. Yes I beleive Jesus is risen. Yes I beleive in the kingdom of God here and after death. Yes I believe there is a heaven and a hell in the after life. The above is about our lives now. There is nothing that says we come back in another life on this planet. Not in any way. There is a popular phrase that says "maybe in my next life". There is no such thing.
