You be the judge.
Your answer here. What state budget cuts do you want. List your top three budget cuts. Now, show the fact that you did not list any budget cuts that effect you nor your household directly. Now show the fact that you have indiscriminately chosen all others accept you and yours. And that is the whole point of the failed budget cuts to date. Everyone but you. Anyone but you. Not the state legislature, but all others and etc... Your state, the billionaires cometh and says no problem there?
Other factors and considerations? In Illinois, they raised the taxes for everyone, and where that may not be liked, it is fair for all with no exemptions for business, unions and or others. Wisconsin gave tax cuts to businesses and union busts all workers, is that fair for all? Controversy. Other states have started same positioning, many states have not begun to start anything regarding state budget deficits.
So let's get real. Do you want the teachers fired? Do you want your state health and human services terminated? Do not want school buses anymore? Kill DCFS in your state? I ask this because no matter how much glee and over exuberance for state budget cuts in any area, or all areas, the state has a primal responsibility to all and for all. There is no escaping that fact, no matter where you live (D or R).
There are those that say the cuts do not go far enough. Okay Just close all state services. That is what the federal government is going to do. That is right, just end the state. What do you get? You get your state legislature being paid and no one else. What does that achieve? Because that is the true state of your state. And if that is the case, why pay them, the state legislature? Pay them for your bankruptcy, but not theirs. What sense does that make? Because your state legislature is not offering to take 15% pay cut.
Nationally, the government shut down will cut 800,000 jobs and as the weeper says, "so be it". Except his job is not going to be cut.
Yes, again the glee and over exuberance of those who do not think the federal shut down goes far nor deep enough of a cut to reduce government and or the federal deficit. For these people the new weapon of mass destruction is in the hands of the weeper and pals. This new weapon of mass destruction is called defunding.
Defunding means; the jobs, the bill, the project will not be funded by Republicans nationally and will not be funded by republicans in your state.
Defunding national healthcare, is this what everyone wants? The answer is no. See the weeper, pals and cronies.
In Illinois and in your state, republican defunding means not paying employees to work. Republican defunding means kill jobs, kill jobs, kill jobs in your state. Kill.
By defunding massive public works projects from the federal government, this leaves only private sector employers to hire employees. Can the private sector possibly hire that many out of work people? The answer is no. Do private sector employers have the money to hire new employees? Yes and then some. Are private sector employers sitting on vast sums of cash and in no need of a loan? Yes. But they are not hiring, those private sector employers. The same private sector employers the state just gave tax credits.
And yet, on the street one hears, stop spending our money. Stop spending our money, the workers say.
Healthcare costs are the single biggest reason for any state, federal or personal deficits. Who over sees healthcare costs in your state? Answer, your state legislature, thats who. In Illinois, the state allows up to a 67% increase in your health insurance costs per year. Other states are similar.
Your state legislature, by allowing your health insurance rates to increase far beyond anyone' ability to pay, is primary for most of what everyone already knows is fiscal disaster.
And so, the state, by slashing jobs and people, does not correct the single biggest exponent factor of fiscal disparity, healthcare costs. Although the state has always had the power to do so, but not even now, why is that? Who or what is healthcare? Business, that who and what. Not people and not the primary responsibility of state.

Multiple disclaimers, before we begin in Wisconsin.
Blyth America shall now endeavor to list a few disclaimers.
1. Non negotiable = ? Democracy? Or something else.
2. This is not the first time, nor the last time, a state far over reaches it's authority.
3. Sending the Wisconsin State Police to get the Democrat's State senators on orders of the (R) governor.
4. Recall of the few, or the14 democratic State senators only. What country does that sound like? Stalin. Mao.
5. Select groups and not others? Is that equality? Fairness? Inclusive?
6. What pay cuts and benefit cuts has the Wisconsin (R) State legislature itself offered to give up? Answer none. Is that fair, equal or inclusive?
7. Does the Wisconsin (R) State Legislature need 60 State senators and four times that amount of State Representatives? No cuts there and non negotiable.
8. How many Alderman does Milwaukee need?
9. Union busters. Does anyone remember, the right to organize is in the Constitution?
10. Your state has renigged on business contract to fund pensions.
11. Who started this mess? Your State Legislature, no one else, by not funding pension plans as they had agreed to do.. Not the unions, not some unions, but not other unions, not the workers. To date, no legislature has taken responsibility for itself and bankruptcy.
And so, you do the math, what is 3.6 billion Wisconsin dollars divided by 5,692,004 people in Wisconsin? Now do the math for the city and county deficits in Wisconsin per person and add them all together for their per person, city, county, state and federal debt per person in Wisconsin.
12. Who started the federal deficit we have now of 15 trillion dollars? Equaling $44,000 per person in the United States. Who? Because, when # 42 President Clinton left office, there was zero federal deficit.

In Wisconsin, the republican union busters are on hold, maybe for weeks until the democratic state senators come back to the state and go to work. The (R) Wisconsin State Legislature has now dismissed themselves from work until whenever. The Wisconsin Sate Legislature has spent 150 million to business in tax breaks and rips unions. Meanwhile, the Wisconsin state police are on the hunt for the democrat state senators on orders from the republican governor of Wisconsin. Nice!
And so, should the Republic or the State of Wisconsin be allowed to fail with their 3.6 billion dollar deficit? Because the State deficit did not happen yesterday.
At issue here, are many, however, Blyth America shall endeavor to list a few.
The State, like many other States have not funded the pension plans of state employees for decades. The state legislature is at fault here. No one else. The state employees are not at fault in any way, this includes unions. Breaking or busting up the unions because the state has failed to their job and defund or not fund state pension plans is wrong, illegal and makes no sense to go after select groups of people and not others. Then scick the police on the worst offenders for non compliance of illicitries and illegalities by and of the new republican legislature.
Technically, there are no two ways about state pension, defined benefit plans. The DB plan must be fully funded to convert the DB plan into a DC or Defined Contribution plan, also know as a 401k plan. That is federal and state law. Everybody knows that. And your state has not complied and will not comply. What happens when your employer cannot pay their bills, including funding pension plans? The employer goes bankrupt.
Federally, the state can not declare bankruptcy. The current 2011 U.S. Congress talked about changing that federal law to allow individual States to go bankrupt, but took no action, except to say the federal government will not bail out individual States. That was three weeks ago and is posted here on prior Blyg's.
Basic labor law 101. Labor must be paid. Right or wrong, the job done, labor must be paid, and paid first and in full. There are no two ways about that anywhere. The State has renigged. The State is at fault and in default, not the workers in any select definition.
Internationally, Cairo and the most recent protests there, are about a living wage. There are no unions there. A living wage.
A living wage and a pension. Around the world this is right. If your neighbor has money, this is good. Plunging select groups into bankruptcy when they are not at fault is what?
Nationally, this failed vogue or rogue republican policy of defunding or non funding anything and everything can be ok, accept, when it is for shielding the lobbyist's and special interest groups, aka, pork buddies of the current republican house leaders. Again, select groups and not for all, which is against the people and for air pollution, oil pollution, water pollution and other favored status among GOP pals. Get a whiff of that and spill baby spill. Spillage.
You be the judge. Because this is nothing more than big business crushing the workers by the same old GOP practices of the good ole' boy ways. There is just one thing, they are making money and the worker is not.

Cuts hurt. As seen on prior Blyg's, teachers and unions and workers are not at fault here. The state has failed in it's responsibilities to fund pension plans. The state has broke the laws. The state has renigged on business contract with it's employees by not funding pensions. This is the failure of state and the failure of state legislature. Also failed here, is the wrongful thinking that teachers are somehow dispensible as oppossed to other unions that are not sacred cows, but in fact, the state is scared of the other unions, which is also failed thinking. Cairo is not so far away.
Double dippers. In Illinois, triple dippers.
Deeper cuts. 60 billion more?

Contribute now to make prisoners file a tax return and pay taxes.
Fitty cent a day. No typo. Or if you prefer, the amount of money per day a prisoner earns in prison per day. The state of Illinois could correct this situation with ease. King of subjective laws, the Illinois state legislature in one day could pass the correct law to add 1 day of continued sentencing for every fitty cent the prisoner stole and etc...
Perhaps more importantly, the fact that prisoners have not filed taxes ever, and are in prison and have never been asked to file a tax return. This is where they should be made to file. Then start the new fitty cent law, retro and before bail, or the full amount added to bail. Do it now, king state.
So really, how tough is it to estimate how much money was earned by prisoner selling dope and never filing taxes? You remember that state, desperate for revenue? But not collecting. not collecting a penny.
Those arrested at that known crack house, the full value of the property should be imposed on the bail and etc.... You do remember that house that was just boarded up in your neighborhood? The house everybody just says " awe shcucks to", the same house the bank walks out on, the same house, principal in the U.S. mortgage and housing bust of the Bush years and rolled into the six trillion dollar illegal credit default swaps debacle. You white collar gang banger you. Let us skip the exegesis, shall we.
How about a single law that says all taxes must be paid in full prior to leaving prison.
It is time to start collecting from prisoners.

NYSE moving to Germany. The CBOE in play.
Federal state bailouts. $6,538 + $11,934 = $18,472 state and city debt per person in Illinois. 85 Billion in Illinois alone. So 85 billion divided by 13 million people = $6,538 per person in Illinois. This 23 billion is the city and counties only, and does not include the state portion.
Now Factor the U.S. deficit per person = $45,540. Please note this is for everyone breathing, not just citizen or adult. And so you do the math for you state. In Illinois the total per person debt = $64,012.
Now factor how much dope money is snarfed out of Illinois and your state per year. $3,000 per day X 365 X four hundred thousand gang bangers. Then add the national amount of 40 billion annually.
Gas or Food? Do we not remember the atrocities of the Bush years and crimes against humanity caused by ethanol and the destruction of basic food staples worldwide due to outrageous corn price increases? Hello? You do remember that inedible corn.
And lastly, remember that when # 42 President Clinton left office there was no federal debt per person.

Far more than the lost generation or just plain dopers, a generation past the political demise of trade schools and career education in the U.S. and Chicago, institutional breakdown and failures due to scandal, religion, and monetary demise all of which are intrinsically inter woven to the exact correlation of the U.S. dope culture as it started in the 1950's and continuing, the continuing demands of the baby boomers with absolutely no help from generation X, America's failed health care system of delivery (excluding the over prescribed hyper active prescription drugs and industry) and virtually complete failure of American culture that never prescribed to elder care for any reason as a culture.
