A special session of the Illinois Legislature was called for two reasons. 1. To call for a special elction for the vacant US. senate seat. This did not happen and will not. 2. To begin impeachment proceedings.
Recall failed in the state of Illinois back in January of 2008. See the usual suspects. And really the names should be posted because had recall been passed none of us would be in the current state of dispair now.
Milorad is the governor period, like it or not, and a living testicular vrility and or testament for recall.
The only question left is what does it take in Illinois to enact recall because the cuurent fiasco is not enough.
No changes.

The world is trying to get an indication of what the new #44 administration will look and be like coming from Illinois. The current state of affairs in Illinois is sloppy to be politically correct about it. Is this what to expect in our future. Is this the precursor and I do mean precursor of our future. Many would say yes as it only gets uglier. But wait 2008 is not over yet. Oh, no.

Cocaine aside and empty lots of it, the partyline is on. What is all the fuss about? The king announced weeks ago that there will be no special election and that the US. Senate would go to a retired or senior politician. There is no surprise here nor there. The king has spoken. And for those that need it spelled out, the king is Richard Daley. Mayor of Chicago, Illinois. 606001.

Roland Burris is a good choice for US.Senator. So was the selection of Danny Davis, another good choice. The fact is that the special session now in the state legislature did not call for a special election as they could have and should have done. The king had denounced that. This left only the governor to do the job of appointing. Like it or not Milorad is the governor, there is no debate on that.
All of this and much much more are the extended definitions of recall. See prior Blygs. Vote for recall in your state and nationally for all federally elected official and appointees.
It is all legal.

thus, ending the failed posturing of many in the state legislature and government. Bet on it. Lot's of blushing going on down there. If he is smart, Milorad will announce the special election real soon to include the vacant US.Senate seat at the same time and possibly more. He's got this thing and it's bleepimg golden. It's the old end around trick. Or the old hand off trick. Either way it's golden, and it ensures the blissfull marriage to continue for the governor and the state legislature well into 09.

the mistrial. In Illinois where all rights if any, are subject to undo, there are at least six reasons to move for a mistrial right now and counting. That will be used only if need be. The defense knows it will win the impeachment and will call a mistrial only after the unfair rulings. The latest in the IL. impeachment shows a clear need for the change in venue. The simple reason is Milorad can not get a fair trial in the Illinois legislature. Therefor the IL impeachment should be moved to Washington D.C. where all is fair. Yes Washington D.C. where there is justice.

48 and learning. Blest tripped me up yesterday, so I asked the authority, and he distinctly made it known that he was correct in all ways on this issue, and in all vernacular too. I thought to myself, dummy, how can I be 48 and not know this? I did not think it was a word. I thought blessed was the correct word. This puzzled me for a time. It was infallability itself that crushed my illiteracy on this issue. Still I checked it out with another editor, who said he had never heard of it and he was older than me, this was some conselation, but the infallability poured on. You can't beat those guys in their realm. The author was a preist. Figured I better punt.
Of vernacular and lore, the kings english is best in all formats including our abbreviated society on the internet, hip hop, and all other points of failed english. Yes it is true that we get the message or meaning of hip hop, rap or other loose pros of not. And no I am not picking on rap nor hip hop nor any other format. And yes, I am guilty of using verbage not best suited for a clean write, this I regret. I now find myself being corrected with ease, education and thanks.
It is not easy to edit. Last year I met a nice lady in her late thirties doing technical computer work and being paid well around 60k. She explained to me that I was a novice in anything to do with computers in comparison to her U of C education of such and that really I should not be in the same room. She went on to say that she had a masters in english from the U of C and that it was worth nothing. I was shocked by this. I explained to her that now she was needed more than ever with her english knowns especially in the scale of our society at large and english therein. She sighed, knew I was right, but was making more money now even thoough it was not her fortee, then sighed again at the knowing of what a loss the society at large is in with our non attention to the kings english. Such a loss, I hope she goes back to english in a big way, we need her. To think of the pros versus me, I should not be in the same room. All the while I think of great english wits in my life whom you never know when and where they will pop up and be right with the correction needed just at the right time. My mother was one of those greats. I found it annoying back in the day as a lad being corrected on pros I did ot know. I miss her now as she so duly noted. Those pros who are so gifted have a duty to fullfill the kings english at every turn. The editor is so needed and wanted. Thank you.
In my rush to write my ideas or proposals I ignore the statutes of generosity. The statutes of generosity are all of the kings english pros together that make a clean write right. Mostly I feel I do not want to loose the thought and dash the pros. This is not possible. In editing later, I find content lost but not context. My need for speed tries to conquer all and fails everytime. The solace that I am not alone in this trap does not make it right. Knowing the power of a stand alone editor for authors is frightening. Could it be that an author should except the 80 percemt rule when writing? Meaning that when all is done by the editor you will have but 80 percent left of your original content. And does this rule mean you are automatically 20 percent over the line? Perhaps. Does all of this mean one should get a real writing style? The style of which in original first write, none of the statutes of generosity are not compromised? And just who writes like that anyway? It' not right.

One of the great mysteries about Christmas is when it hits you. Some years Christmas finds you early, some years not so much, other years Christmas overwhelms you and stays late. Another mystery is what sets off Christmas for you. Each year is different, this year it was a Santa Claus movie for me just one week ago. We know not why or when this lighning bolt will strike you, but it surely gets your attention. But for others it is a cake or some eggnog or just when the child in you can't take it any longer. It matters not the when or why of these things as you have changed through the years. It only matters that Christmas finds you, and it always does, no matter where you are or why. That is another mystery for sure. People experience a Christmas around the word differently each year, that too is another wonder. So how can it be that all of these things happen all at the same time and space? That, is the biggest wonder of all. Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays.

Milorad. is working. The big problem here is that all of this is perfectly legal in Illinois. I think the IRS should get a long look at this. And I think they should post the names of these 435 people and their sponsors for a more comprehensive veiw of it all. Not to mention the taxes or lack of.
It is all legal. Corporations get tax deductions, the governor gets the money and it is all legal in Illinois. So, who makes the laws that make it all legal? Being fair is not always easy.
It is all legal.

The BlythAmerica Awards disclaimer is my small and skewd vision of all major medias and my naivity of it all. This disclaimer continues in that the knowing of these evolving new major medias: internet, print TV, stand alone video and the new conglomerating industries of all or some can be hard to put a finger on, especially in the wake of major newspapers dying across the county. The death of these newspapers is more than tragedy alone. Although this disclaimer is not witten well, It has been an extrordinary year in journalism because of the economy and the presidential election. The economy and the election brought out the very best of major and evolving medias this year and as such, has made it a very tough year for assesments and or valuations. Perhaps, this year we have seen a better blending of financial reporting in a more composit of overall reporting as is seen in our humanities due to the election, and perhaps rightfuly so. Not that this was not true of the past, but emphasized this year. In truth it is not fair to compete with the pros. My scary little dribblings are of no match to the pros who have been more than kind to me. I certainly want to thank them one and all. Thank you. The fact is that I am in schock and wonder, if not belittlement if not in awe, of the big three ABC, NBC and CBS. Truly I am in the no compete zone. I feel like a 9 year old standing at the dug out clenching the fence in wow watching the big league pitcher, the world ahead of me totaly unknown, but love that pitcher. The internet wars are another matter in itself with too vast a world to catch up on or grasp for the moment. One can only be proud of our young for being such dynamic players in all of this, even if we don't know just how good they are yet. The resurgence of seniored players was good to see this year, they have so much to give and perhaps wih the best smiles of genuinity, love that. And so before we begin, one should pause for reflection on the recent quote of Elliot Sptzer when asked if he was enjoying life as a colomniist, quote " it sucks, he said, I used to be governor of New York. " Told you I am skewd. Can I get an Oh Elliot on that. Let us ponder that. No, Elliot is not the journalist of the year.
Without further immortal grunts, groans, sigh's and great quotes from Elliot Spitzer; In the catagory of best overal Newspaper; the winner is? The Chicago Sun Times. Because of # 44 this newspaper was uniquely positioned to do a good job. Not only did they meet the challenge in a dying industry, they, in conjunction with other multi medias have repositioned themselves in a crushing industy as the leader to be and I predict will be a model for the new indusry in 5 years from now. Tough business, great paper.
In the catagory of Internet journalists the winner is? The Northstar Writers Group. This is a well balanced read form a cross geographical veiw and more.
In the catagory of best of the big three anchors, ABC, NBC and CBS the winner is? Actually this is a 3 way tie. But since there must be a distinction, CBS. Why? She is the best looking. Sorry guys, nothing personal and hey, the BlythAmerica Awards are rough. ABC's new anchor is a fine choice and a fine man and has done a remarkable job in just a short period of time. Everybody likes him. NBC has the new powerhouse also and he is surely seated well. The truth is that all year these three have run neck and neck on a 3,2,1 box trifecta all year, one in front, then the other, then the other and have finished in a photo finish of excellence. Add to that the depth and scope of reporting and the world is a better place because of them. They make US proud.
In the catagory of most improved television station, the winner is? This award is given to the TV station that is most improved coast to coast incuding major and minor markets. The winner is CBS. Why? Becaues where it is true that ABC and NBC have significantly broadened their range and feild, CBS had the most ground to make up, and has made the bigest strides.
In the catagory of best seniored journalist, the winner is? This catagory is reserved for journalists over 65 years of age, The winner is? Bob schieffer.
In the catagory of best news group, the winner is? The McLaughlin Group. Why? Because BlythAmerica said so.
In the catagory of best financial journalist, the winner is? Tied between Martin Feldsein and Mortimer Zuckerman. Why? Because of their macro economic veiws of the housing crisis and ways to fix it.
In the catagory of ugly duck journalist, the winner is? This award is for the fanged of heart, those that have cast off all major media as left or right, yellow journalists, bias pro or con certain countries and not others etc.... these rants can be found most anywhere in places of fodder, the writers of which are the winners.
Disclaimer continued: It is with regret that many have not made the list this year. There are no easy choices here, as the applicants were quite proffessional in every way. I thank them one and all, the winners and all of the rest whom have done an outstanding job in a turbulent year. Congratulations.

The countless accounting articles of missing US banking bail out monies prove that US banks know no shame and truly do not care. This is one article not written by Arthur Anderson. Aside form all of these articles that show the slective accounting practices before and after the banking bail outs, the more poignant fact is that these banks are not making loans to people like us. Here, one would ask, If these big and small banks are not making loans with your give away monies, then what are these banks doing with your money that these banks will not lend you? Are they investing your give away bail out monies for their own self interests? No pun intended. Banks investing for their own self interests, isn't that what got US into this mess to begin with?
At what point are we tired of these endless redundancies to nowhere and the repeating of same over and over? Personally I am tired of writing about the repetitive nature of US failure. This is not a writing style, but fact, none of which need be. We are a long way from George Bailey's Savings and Loan, but we all live in Potttersville.

There is no time table as to when The US. Attorney's office should or could release information requested in the Illinois imeachment. Indeed there should not be a timetable. That means it could be several months before any or parts of information will be released. Because of failure of discovery to and for all parties in the IL. impeachment the impeachment should and must be put on hold subject to the massive and broadening scope of the US Attorney's office. The governor has reaffirmed his denial of all.
All of this leaves only one thing to do in the special session of the IL legislature now, approve the special election of the empty US Senate seat in Illinois. Let the great state of Illinois move forward.

The legacy of # 43 will be howled for decades to come. Yesterday's 17.4 billion bailout "GIFT" to the US auto industry is a mockery and indeed a hard slap to labor. Labor is not at fault here and never was. The primary contingent to the 17.4 billion gift is that management slash and burn labor, if not, no money, and management ageed to do so in 90 days. GM and Chrysler have their free check now.
A living wage is central and primary here. Yes there are many other issues in the auto industry and in all of the baiouts but this is a targetted assault to, of and agaist labor in the US. Central to all of this is what is a living wage? The true definition of a living wage is that an employee earns enough to live and make ends meet within his/her household and therfore has no need to engage in wrongful or criminal activities to assist in raising his/ her income enough to live. When an employee has a living wage many primary aspects of life are achieved. Housing, food and medicine are achieved. Honor and meaning of life are achieved for the worker. But, most important to the family is that generations can see a man or woman earnig enough not to steal and or committ other wrongful acts to and against society. Yesterday's auto bailout deny's a person of self dignity and a living wage. The legecy of # 43.

Table it until 4-1-09. That's right, put it all on hold subject to rulings and discovery from the US. Attorney's office. This is sweet clean and easy. Anything else is not. This should easily be amenable to all parties. All parties win, there are no loosers and all is known.
So what do you get for tabling it? The defendent does not care. The state has already made it's case clear. The IL. AG has made the request and has been answered. The IL. Ag has made a declaration of non payment to the defendents attorney. And all parties have presented their case and issues clear enough for the present. In effect all parties have been represented well and the people have been served by clear representation. The peoples will has been served to date. That is sweet clean and easy. Now we wait for the US. Attorney's office and other documents.
Single Issue: The US. Senate seat vacancy needs to be filled. That is the only state business at hand now in the special session. Deal with it. Set the date and terms of the Special Election, this is the will of the people. Now let's move on.

fascinating lesson in civics and shows many a good, dedicated and hard working people. Perhaps this could be a good lesson for all. Thank you to ABC for televising the impeachment. You have done right by the people. This is a large part of Americana that goes unseen but should be seen. This could be ideal for every High School class room. The state could use a major upgrade on their microphone and or audible systems. Aside from the usual suspects, overall the state has a fine staffing of people commtted to excellence. This is a great veiw of government in action and shows an inner and outer workings of state, the kind of which one may not normally see. Right or wrong this shows an overall pcture of state employees from various agencies and depatments working with reduced staff and budgets and doing the best they can but working hard for the right reasons and dilligently so. All in all I have found it most impressive and I would certainly recomend this watch for all. What you should see here is the state trying to do right by it's people. With many impressive witnesses by the state, the BGA Attorneys have been a stand out so far. It could appear as though the state has had a year to line up a pretty thorough list of who, how and in what way to do all of this, all of which could be compelling.

Milorad is a prince of a guy. Currently married to the estranged Illinois state legislature for better or worse where kisses are blown on the often with seering smiles of jeer and delight. Lot's of blushing going on over there. The Illinois Supreme court has ruled against IL. Attorney General Lisa Madigan's weak suit to have Milorad removed from the office of governor and as such has recuesed themselves of all these shmadigans. The Illinois Supreme court has also ruled in favor of not ruining their own holday vacations being in Springfeild and have decided upon an extra hot toddy in Galena instead. Send a breif, really breif. The state legislature has elected to work through the holiday session when they could be home in their sweat pants, this makes the holidays extra special in this year joy and impartial vehement. The IL.. AG gets to decide giving 20 million + taxpayer dollars to the attorney of Milorad so that the state legislature can keep up appearances of fairness and non biasedness in the no rules of evidence impeachment and as such the IL. AG will give the stamp of approval to continue fortwith, and with all undo haste. No conflict there. Recently, it has been learned that the US Attorney General (not the same as the IL. AG) may freeze Milorads assets of over 3.9 million dollars. Too late, Milorad has already spent all that money on prepaid legal fees, and as such, has insured this continued blissfiull relationship to blossum well into April of 2009 plus. More later.

Live, far better than reality tv, any tv channell that covers the Illinois impeachment live will more than get their money back. Why? Because there are no rules. Because the state of Illinois must declare to pay the gov's lawyer 20 million + dollars to beat the no rulles IL. state legislature, all of which via now looser of filing IL. AG ( who wants to be appointed the new US. Senator of IL.) and because of the underlying venom that flows bigger than the Mississippi and the Wabsh/Ohio Rivers. World spotlight. And much more.

The Illinois impeachment of Milorad should be moved to Washington D.C. for obvious reasons. To Kill A Mockingbird. Washington D.C. is the best place for the Illinois impeachment. There we can have a fair and impartial trial. Don't take my word for it see Ed Genson. See you in Washington D.C. This will be a long trial. Look here for just the beginning. Mr.Genson' bill to the state of Illinois will top 20 million taxpayer dollars. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. state legislature. There is no money for a special election in Illinois, but plenty for futility of which the state of Illinois will loose in the end when the gov beats this impeachment. Declare the special election now.

Current IL. governor will win the weak suit of Lisa Madigan. No short impeachment as Milorad will drag it out until at least April, 2009, he is not in a hurry. Milorad will beat the impeachment. And the US. Attorney case against him will be delayed until after term. He will not beat that. All of this keeps the marriage in tact. Yes that beautiful marriage between thr state legislature and the governor. Kisses.

No changes in Illiniois. Today's events in the state legislature prove only the partiality of it all. More of the same, gov or no gov. And so it is that impeachment was approved with no mention of a special election for any reason. No special election means evreybody stays, no changes, stay the course. And it is all course. Illinois, land of dinosaurs and old hacks. Futility max-im-us.

By prepaying his legal fees ahead of the government freezing his assets Milorad may very well fight his way through until April, 2009. He has 3.9 million to spend on this.
Predictions: IL. Gov will beat the IL, AG's filing and he will beat the impeachment. The impeachment alone will cost us 5 to 10 million dollars. All of which the taxpayers are the biggest loosers. The bottom line is these guys screw up and we pay while they cash your checks. No changes.

Aside from the many accolades for this good Senator it should be noted that he is a Senator for all and not just one party. Noting that he has done more than the work of 2 US. Senators for more than 2 years now is not enough. The events of the last week deeply express the need for a special election that is fair to all of the voters and not just one party nor circumstance. A US. Senator is for all of the people. Let all of the voters do the will of the people.

#1 Worldwide web hits Illinois notorios state legislature.

This week the worldwide web sought Illinois as the #1 place to go to on the web for more infomation on the failures here. Not just for comedy on SNL tonight, nor curiosity, nor media glare, but for utter unabashed confoundedness of what kind of people are these?
The failure of the Illinois state legislature to enact recall says it all. The principles that defeated the right to (enact recall) do right by the good people of Illinois have thrown us once again into the their personal misery and dispair of which we are not a part of, nor want to be. All of the series of events that transpired this week would have been avoided had there been recall as law. By not enacting recall we have seen just a few of the ways and players self perpetuate the expensive and compouding relentless cycle of re-repeating to nowhere the endless cycle of failure to do right by the people at all costs. No problem and no changes ahead, stay the course, Democrat or Republican no matter. Indeed the world is flabbergasted if not as exhausted by all of this and more to come, no matter and no changes, stay the course. Endless

This is the single best solution.
If the IL. legislature would enact Recall into law effective immediately on Monday many issues would be solved fast, clean and easy. This is by far the single best solution other than resignation. Then the special election. Recall is simply a vote of confident for or against. Recall is fair to all.

In Illinois rule # 382 says they will pettition the court for reason and or causes. Impeachment of a governor is long and costly. All of this is a joke and a mockery of the body of law makers in Illinois who were supposed to make short work of all of this but can not and will not for a lack of laws permitting such. All of this in a state of massive over excessive laws to the law abiding citizen. In any and all definitions this is the definition and reason for total recall of any and all elected officials. Recall. Much more on this later.
The simple fact of the matter is that this state employee intends to stay on so he can collect his check of $14,784 per month. This state employee will ride this out untill the very end of the end while continuing to collect your tax dollar checks. And of course, here in again lies the root of the problem, which is no law to do right by the people, the best law of which is recall, of which our state legislature will not enact for any reason, and as such re-perpetuautes the ignorance into exponetial abyss of no reason. More later.
The only real question left is how do we protect ourselves from legislators city, township, county, state and federal? The joke is over. End of joke.

Unquestionably a special election for the US. Senate seat in Illinois is the fairest to the voters for all too many reasons. We list only a few of the good reasons for a special election; the recent rash of politicians negating the voters by appointments of sons and daughters to their elected offices. The current scandal of disarray by the failed appointment process. And the best reason is that the special election is fair and unbiased for all of the voters and not periled by subjective wants of evey kind from certain people. Fairness.

Recall, would eliminate any wait, delay or set back due to legislative nonsense. Recall is also infinately cheaper, faster and more effective. This should include any, every and all elected officials and should not be limited to state officials only, nor subject to any home rules of city, county or other. Federally elected officials and appointments should be included in recall.

Here stateside, when arrested for DUI your blood and DNA are bodily invaded by hack "medical professionals" and I use that term loosely if at all, and then you are permanently entered into a dark database that no one knows about or where it is. Please note, this is before your court case and or any presumption of guilt or innocence. If you are found guilty the state says they were in the right. If you are found not guilty or dismissed the state does not return your bodily fluids or person. Either way you have been stolen with no return forever your DNA and any and all exacting data about you forever. Worse yet, you could not tell if this was really yours if they did return your DNA. Here in a world of massive data theft for money and other illicit gain one is intrinsically concerned for the future of his/her person via stolen DNA and what wrongful uses of such could scientificley occur with use of same in the future (even long after death). So where is your DNA now and in the future. Does anyone trust the state to hold and secure your DNA information. Is your DNA destroyed after a time and how? Or are you sold like a grain of rice for less than a grain of rice to be in awaitment for the next Dr. Mengela and whatever the next use of a mad scientist desires. So just where is that hell database in your state and why are you in it not of your desire and how if any way at all do you get out of it a right way forever? As we await your personal DNA data to be splattered all over the internet like the original cheap suit one can only ask, who started this mess.

With out question the constitution was designed for a balance of powers of every branch. Clearly that was the intent. Where it can be true that the electorate body you can vote in a filabuster proof majority that does not mean it is a good thing. Perhaps the only good thing of this is a speed of which laws can be enacted good or bad. A filabuster proof majority stands against he peoples will for balance of governance through representation or the lack of. Any unequal balance of power only leads to extended and excellerated divisiveness of which we need not more. Aside form the individuals in the race for US senate in Georgia, overall it is not a good thing to have a filabuster proof anyhting any where at any time. Fairness was and is always the objective before, now and later.

Pick a state. How many of us beleive that state is well run with an roi of 19%. What about the ongoing indictments in that state at every level of corrupt and crooked city, county and state officials who could not care less about us. Mayors and Governors going to jail more and more frequently with no end to it. And best of all no one in the last 60 years has ever returned any nor all of those missing monies fron the tollway and pension funds and on and on and on. So why should the fed bail out your state? Other than the fact that you have a job with them? Oh, and by the way let us not forget the federal government in all of this. High School football needs to expand for student growth.

High school football needs a double elimination in the playoffs to expand the personal growth of the student/player. Knowing the current system is fair to all does not mean that the personal growth of the individual should be limited to what could be described as an inferior system of inequities of the single sudden death elimination playoff system of current. A double elimination is needed for many reasons, one of which the level of play warrants, the schehule and the standings are not fairly represented, the mere populatuions increases is far bigger than the system provides for and the double elimination playoff is fair to all. Yes there are many other reasons for the double elimination playoffs but the biggest reason is the personal growth of the individual student/player as a person. Certainly these kids have the energy to play one or two more games, but what they seek most is what we all seek, that is a little more justice in a fairer system of equality. A better truism of how life can be defined. Why limit our youth that can and want to do and be right. Just give it to them, the better High Shool football playoff system. Don't take my word for this, just meet any High School player and see what a good kid is. Ask them. IHSA football.
